No.: WV0114375 Applicant: HANSON READY MIX, INC. 2200 SPRINGFIELD PIKE CONNELLSVILLE, PA 15425 Location: MCMECHEN, MARSHALL COUNTY Latitude: 39:58:42 Longitude: 80:44:10 Receiving Stream: OHIO RIVER Activity: To operate and maintain a treatment and disposal system and best management practices for the direct discharge of treated industrial wastes (truck wash/rinse water, concrete plant production, aggregate stockpile water and stormwater runoff) via Outlet 001 to the Ohio River at approximate Mile Point 97. Also, to operate and maintain disposal systems and best management practices for the direct discharge of untreated stormwater runoff via Outlets 003 and 004 to the Ohio River near Mile Point 97. Tier 1 protection is provided for the uses specified in Title 47, Series 2, Section 6. Business conducted: Production and delivery of redi-mix concete. Implementation: NA On the basis of review of the application, the "Water Pollution Control Act (Chapter 22, Article 11-8(a))," and the "West Virginia Legislative Rules," the State of West Virginia will act on the above application. Any interested person may submit written comments on the draft permit and may request a public hearing by addressing such to the Director of the Division of Water and Waste Management within 30 days of the date of the public notice. Comments received within this period will be considered prior to acting on the permit application. The Director shall hold a public hearing whenever a finding is made, on the basis of requests, that there is a significant degree of public interest on issues relevant to the Draft Permit(s).
