West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection This mailing is to advise the public that we have received an application for Permit Amendment Application of permit S402096 for CM ENERGY OPERATIONS, LP, 200 GEORGE ST STE 4, BECKLEY, WV 25801. This application proposes to add 14.5 acres (Amendment 3) and surface mine in the Williamson, Upper Cedar Grove 1, Upper Alma, Upper Powellton, Lower Powellton, Upper Eagle, Eagle, No. 2 Gas, Powellton, Bens Creek, Little Eagle, Cedar Grove, Cedar Grove 2, Lower Cedar Grove A, Lower Cedar Grove B, Lower Cedar Grove C seams of coal. Operation discharges into Walls Branch, Cedar Creek, and Clear Fork of the Gyandotte River and located 1.5 miles south of Coal Mountain, WV in the Clear Fork district of Wyoming county. The permit is located in Wyoming County, Longitude 81° 44´ 39.0000" Latitude 37° 38´ 32.0000" (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
